The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) have begun holding sessions in East Cardiff, Llanedeyrn and Pentwyn. The CAB can offer you easy to understand advice and practical help on topics like Debt, Welfare Benefits, Housing, Health, Education, Consumer Rights, Relationships and other issues for free.
They can provide support in different ways, from a quick phone call to help you understand your options to face to face interviews and follow up appointments and more. It is really up to you to decide how much or little support you want or need.
ECLP Communities First is supporting the CAB to run its services in the area by providing office space for CAB staff and by referring people over to them. But anyone can access their services at any time.
If you would like to access CAB support you can pop in to the drop in sessions held in the area:
Tuesday, 10am to 1pm – The Beacon Centre, Harrison Drive, St Mellons.
Wednesday, 2pm to 4.30pm – Rumney Medical Centre, Barmouth Rd, Rumney.
Friday, 10am to 1pm – Llanedeyrn Powerhouse, Roundwood, Llanedeyrn.
Who’s it for? Anyone who is currently looking for support with legal or financial problems.
